Casting Call for ActorsAre you looking for an acting job? Timeless Tales of Fairview Cemetery, now in its ninth year, is a guided tour throughout the cemetery and highlights the lives of some of New Britain’s most notable former residents. Actors, both professional and novice, are sought out to portray these individuals. If you have experience acting in the past, or are new to acting, Timeless Tales is great place to gain additional experience, work with a great group of individuals, and learn more about what New Britain has to offer. We encourage anyone who is interested in acting to give us a call and setup an acting audition date. We are accepting auditions up until October 12, 2017 or until our positions our filled.About Timeless Tales of Fairview CemeteryFor two crisp nights in October, patrons are taken on a lamplight tour through the grounds of Fairview Cemetery. On their journey, guests and guide alike are greeted by some of New Britain’s most historic and accomplished former residents who have come to rest at Fairview. This year’s tour will include visits from some of New Britain’s most notable past residents from the Stanley Family, which include Chloe and Melvina Stanley, Colonel Gad Stanley, F.T. Stanley, and A.W. Stanley.What They Are Looking ForAdditional actors will be needed as well for extras and tour guides. This event is put on by the New Britain Parks, Recreation, and Community Services Department in CT. Auditions take place by appointment at New Britain City Hall (27 West Main Street, Room 302, New Britain, CT 06051).How to ApplyInterested parties should call Matt Scofield at 860-826-3358 during office hours of Monday – Friday, 8:15am – 3:45pm to schedule an audition time. Actors must be available from 5:00-10:00p.m. during the dates of October 18-21, 2017 for the dress rehearsal, performances, and rain date.
