Tia S.I would be ecstatic if I were chosen to be a contestant for “The Face.” While reading this article, I got the jitters and an overwhelming joy of excitement of possibly being The Face. The intense feeling I get when talking to others about modeling and visualizing myself possibly being on the cover of print magazine, editorial, or walking the runway! All in one moment, I can have the most fascinating, creative, intriguing unique looks. I recently started watching season 2 and found myself drawn to the show every Wednesday! I believe “The Face” will give me the opportunity to start my career and to show that I have what it takes to be a contestant. Due to the small town I live in, there aren’t many modeling opportunities to pursue my career. Also, certain high fashion modeling opportunities and casting calls are limited, due to my height being 5’6 ¾. After being rejected, I tried putting my focus towards working within high fashion retail businesses. Surrounding myself in these atmosphere’s and continuously being complimented each day on my looks, has motivated me to keep pushing and to not give up on what’s been placed in my heart. I believe I would be a good role model to others. Within my work business and community, I’ve been encouraged to try modeling not only for my looks, but for my easy going personality, the way I present myself, being helpful and a hard worker. The little experience I had with walking the runway, doing a photo shoot, and entering beauty pageants, made me feel like a different person. Jennifer OnyskoMy whole life I feel as though I have lived in the shadows of regret by not doing things the way I should have. While growing up, I had a very strict and old school mom. My life consisted of sports, dancing, piano lessons, etc. Eventually, not being able to have time to socialize with my friends got to me and then the rebelling years began at home. As a young girl I dreamed of becoming a model. Unfortuantely, insecurites brought on by my mom and peers, always knocked me down when I got close to jobs. My mother didn’t want to model because she said it wasn’t a career. When I graduated high school, I was given a scholarship to play Volleyball. I turned it down because I didn’t want to go to college in NJ, I wanted to get out of the state. I also didn’t go to college right away because my father was diagnosed with cancer. Evenutally, at the age of 20, I decided it was time to get out of the state. I moved to Mrytle Beach for college. Again, comments followed that I looked like a model. So I gave it another shot. I was asked to go to Florida to walk the runway where top agencies look at you. I was so excited. But my mom was against me going. So I turned away, again from another opportunity. I didn’t get to finish school because at 24 I had my son. Who is the best thing that ever happened to me. I had a made a lot of sacrifices to get where I am now but it is nowhere close to where I’d hoped I’d be at 31 years old. After having my son, I tried modeling again. In December of 2012, I was involved in a car accident. I was stopped at a red light and was hit from behind. The accident has left me with 3 cervical herniations. I am still working and doing what I have to for my son. But before the accident I was very physically active, so it has been a hard adjustment. Tara VachhaniHello Oxygen! My name is Tara Vachhani, I’m twenty one years young, and I was born and raised in the suburbs of Orlando, Florida. I’ve been modeling on an off for quite some time now, beginning when I was sixteen and my agency moved me to Milano, Italy to live for a few months in order to experience what it’s like to truly call yourself a model. I woke up early every morning to go to castings, charm the clients, eat healthily, exercise routinely and do all that I can to maintain myself and stay as physically fit as well as mentally prepared as possible for what might come my way at the next casting. The reason I say that I’ve modeled “on and off”, is because unfortunately I became an orphan almost immediately following my seventeenth birthday, leaving me to raise myself and my younger brother, so that has definitely impacted my ability to leave for work in the past, but now that he’s grown it’s no longer an issue. I would love to spread my message that beauty can be as much on the inside as on the outside. People often ask me if I am a model, although the only modeling gig I did was through a friend, modeling Kevan Hall bridal gowns at a big jewelry store in Ventura. I loved it though and if I get this chance I will show you that I am hungry for more! I am an RN, working in the operating and recovery room. My passion is health and nutrition. My next goal is to get a nutrition certification and in a relatively near future to start my own business as a health coach. Another thing I want to accomplish is to become a yoga teacher, preferably in Anusara Yoga. Although if modeling is my destined path I will most definitely postpone everything else. 😉 I love traveling and to meet people. Russian, Asian , Filipino. Ive been called it all. My whole life ive been told ” your so beautiful ” ” like a model” why dont you try? Yes im tall , beautiful to most. I am very insecure. I know if i had one thing on myself fixed, i could feel as beautiful as everyone says i am . Braces can simply fix my problem but its considered cosmetic, and i cant afford iit. I have a beautiful life with family that loves me and we have little money, but we’re very happy. I know if i became a model i could provide for my family and give them everything they deserve and more. I wish only to let people see my face and if they like it, they will soon loveit as well . I can wear little makeup no makeup or intense makeup and look totally different each time. A different person. My hair is sooo strong a nd takes good to any color. If anyone who matters reads this. I hope you take the tine out of your busy life and schedule to look into mine. My daughter is my world and i remind her everyday how beautiful she is inside and out and that she doesnt ever need makeup because shes way beautiful without it.
