I have always wanted to apply for a modelling competition and I am glad this competition has been brought to the UK as it gives me a chance to be part of a new and exciting show, which will hopefully be a stepping stone to being a great model. Making and seeing new and old friends. Always learning something new and being able to help others if they are unsure of themselves. There is never a dull moment in the modeling world. I’m 5’8″and I killed the runway in 6″ shoes at EMERGE! Fashion Runway Show presented by Dionne Williams in New York this past spring. I will be in my first magazine spread next month, I have the cover and pages inside; I’m so very excited about this! More of my photos are being considered by other magazines. I know that being a model isn’t about the model, but the fact you “are there” to represent the designer whose fashions that you are wearing! I love going to New York, yes it is an 11 hour drive, but it is so very well worth it! I was very blessed to have had a seven hour photo-shoot there this past April with JoeGraynyc! My dream is to get signed by an agency and do what I do best, model, model and model! I submitted my information online to “The Face” this past spring. I’m hoping that I get selected to show “The Face” exactly what I can do. I take criticism very well and find that it helps me to learn and to grow. Kate Upton is my favorite supermodel. She does not meet the industries standard requirements for modeling and I know that I do not either. Kate overcame her obstacles and I know that I will succeed and become a top model too! JasmineI should be “The Face” because I’ve always had a passion for modeling and working well behind the cameras. I’ve looked up to models like Tyra banks, Naomi Campbell, Eva Marcille, and Beverly Johnson just to name a few. I’m 5’5 and 115 pounds. I feel though I’m not as tall in height I believe I have a striking look and people always come up to me and ask if I’m into modeling.
