Secrets & Lies – ABC
Hot on the heels of such across the board hit dramatic series as Scandal starring Emmy Award nominee Kerry Washington, Grey’s Anatomy and Nashville comes ABC’s next appointment television offering and casting for it is happening now. Secrets & Lies starring the multi-talented Ryan Phillippe is set to begin filming soon and a host of exciting roles are set to be available for performers of all ages throughout the shoot. Based on an Australian mini-series that is also set to debut this year, Secrets & Lies will tell the riveting story of a young father who finds the body of a young boy and becomes the prime suspect in his murder. His world is turned upside down as he attempts to solve the horrific crime and clear his name and the reputation of his family. Two-time Screen Actors Guild Award winner Phillippe (Crash, Gosford Park, The Lincoln Lawyer, The Way Of The Gun, Flags of Our Fathers) will play the lead in this highly anticipated series and writer/producer Barbie Kligman (Private Practice, The Vampire Diaries, CSI: NY) will serve as the showrunner for this gripping series event with Primetime Emmy Award winner Charles McDougall (House Of Cards, Parks and Recreation, Desperate Housewives).
