Movie Casting Call – Pittsburgh, PA

Do you love Seth Rogen’s movies? Do you want the chance to work with him on a new film? There is a new 2018 movie casting call for extras. The “Neighbors” actor has signed on to star as a pickle maker in a new Sony flick. Actors and models are needed for several upcoming scenes. Casting directors are looking for men and women ages 18 and older for a variety of roles. The team is looking for extras to work on November 19th, November 20th and November 21st! Some extras will work only one day and some will work two depending on the role. Aspiring actors can get some acting experience and be paid to be a background actor. Filming will be just outside of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Men and women have the opportunity to portray villagers. Raiders, and people at Ellis Island. About Seth Rogen’s Movie

“The film is based on Rich’s New Yorker novella and stars Rogen as Herschel Greenbaum, a struggling laborer who immigrates to America in 1918 with dreams of building a better life for his beloved family. One day, while working at his factory job, he falls into a vat of pickles and is brined for 100 years. The brine preserves him perfectly and when he emerges in present day Brooklyn, he finds that he hasn’t aged a day. But when he seeks out his family, he is horrified to learn that his only surviving relative is his great grandson, Ben Greenbaum (also played by Rogen), a mild-mannered computer coder whom Herschel can’t even begin to understand,” according to Variety.

What They Are Looking For

**IF YOU HAVE ALREADY BEEN BOOKED TO WORK ON THE “UNTITLED PICKLED MOVIE”, PLEASE DON’T SUBMIT FOR THESE SCENES
General rules: No Visible Tattoos, No dyed hair or dark roots. Men, must be willing to trim sideburns or shave facial hair, if needed. NO shaved heads. Women, NO short hair. Must be shoulder length or below.
Pays $10 per hour for the first 8 hours and time and a half after that. Expect 12 hours days starting early morning. Roles will require a fitting since it’s period.

MONDAY, NOVEMBER 19th AND TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 20th – Exterior Scenes
(Shooting just outside of Pittsburgh to the North) *MUST BE AVAILABLE BOTH DATES FOR CONTINUITY RECALL

*VILLAGERS – Men and Women ages 18+. Let us know if you are ok with some light activity like jogging (SOME WILL ONLY WORK ONE DAY). Put “VILLAGERS” in the subject line when submitting.

*RAIDERS– In shape Men! Must be ok with some physical activity. Beards are great! (SOME WILL ONLY WORK ONE DAY). Put “RAIDERS” in the subject line when submitting
